Latest updates – Week beginning 01.08.25
Hope everyone’s well, and still enjoying the summer! Do also keep wishing for and enjoying that welcome drizzle though, as we enter August, since the Kings House (and many other London Clubs) grass pitches have endured a very dry spring and summer so far, and they could do with a good watering to soften up before the season starts in earnest on Saturday 6th September 2025!
Pre-season Warm Up Matches / Trial Games:
Versus Barnes - Friday 8th August 2025 - 7 p.m. onwards - Chiswick RFC on the RFU AGP - Dan Mason Dr, Chiswick, London W4 2SH.
Our Stags squads shall be starting off with their usual opener against the local Barnes squads – short bursts of match play, with multiple personnel changes – just to loosen the cobwebs and get the brains and muscles ticking over! Please do come along all supporters, friends, families, to cheer the boys. Thanks to Chiswick RFC who are kindly keeping the bar open, and shall have a barbecue stand open should anyone wish to purchase and enjoy some food, plus the bar shall remain open after the game as well with music, for everyone to mingle and enjoy. Hoping to see a good turnout!
Versus Sevenoaks - Saturday 16th August 2025 - 14.00 to 17.00 on the AGP pitch – at Kings House School Sports Ground, Riverside Drive, Chiswick W4 2SP.
Once again, a large group of 1st & 2nd team squads coming up from Sevenoaks to enjoy some pre-season trial games. Also encourage as many supporters who can attend to do so, to enjoy the matches, plus a good social, where the Kings House bar shall be open throughout the games and beyond into the evening. Bring some friends!
Players – keep signing up and renewing your RFU Registrations on GMS! These must be done by start of season – only one month to go! Please get it done now.
